Dear Lou,

As you sit there so handsomely in front of the Christmas tree, with your big brown eyes and red festive sweater- I want you to know how important you are to our family. First of all, you are our number one guy - you are the only pooch I've ever had and you have brought so much happiness into my life. You love us all unconditionally and are always there to greet us at the door. Your excitement with new toys and treats is contagious and your clicking toes across the hardwood floor never fail to bring a smile to my face. I love the way your cheeks flap in the wind when you ride in the backseat with the windows down. The pleading in your eyes when it is time for a bath, then the way you prance around when your coat is clean. You are the light of Lex's life and have seen her through some difficult times, travelling from Tucson in the back of the truck, always returning home where you were most loved. You accepted Mama and Teddy tentatively at first, you snuggled Mama with love and I see you getting closer to Teddy each day. Not an evening goes by that we don't stop what we are doing to watch you ~ snuggle into your bed, smash your face, play with your toys, give you a treat, take a photo or rub your belly. Not to mention the comfort you bring to the office as you receive massages along with Lex's clients. You are truly a member of our family and you will have a new responsibility soon as a big brother to baby Noah. We have no doubt that you will take as good care of him as you do us and we are so blessed that you are here with us this holiday and feeling so much better :) ALL OUR LOVE TO YOU LOUDOG!
